Verbum MENEDEMERUMENUS, quo nomen fabulae Terentianae Heauton timorumenos et nomen Menedemus coaluerunt, additur (4).
Verbum MENEDEMERUMENUS amplissime videtur Pompeiis ut notissima vox. Scriptum est diversis modis, vel litteris quadratis vel litteris cursivis. Tres scriptores, fortasse e Casa del Menandro et Casa dei Quattro Stili, addunt verbum Menedemerumenus carminibus (8).
