Commentary: Graffito of a circle, located on the southern face of Pier A93, looking into the Basilica’s southern corridor. The circumference was clearly made with the help of a compass, as is also indicated by the incised center. The circle could have constituted the guideline for the incision of a large rosette (see also DP32.1, DP81.1, and DP82.2).
