Commentary: Dipinto of a ship sailing on starboard tack, located on the northern face of Pier A155, looking into the Basilica’s southern corridor. The dipinto is damaged by a very large lacuna in the plaster, which has destroyed the upper part of the ship and the prow. Still visible are part of a rockered keel, a flat bulwark, two very stylized rudders, and a straight vertical mast.
