Apparatus Criticus: LSJ cites for the passive of this verb only SB 4.7452 (published by C. C. Edgar, “A love charm from the Fayoum,” BSAA 21 (1925) 42 ff.), where Poseidonios asks that Heronous be bound ὅπως μὴ βεινηθῇ, μὴ πυγισθῇ, μὴ λεικάσῃ, μηδὲν πρὸς ἡδονὴν ποιήσῃ ἄλλῳ ἀνδρί εἰ μὴ ἐμοὶ Ποσιδωνίῳ (lines 9–10): i.e., so that she may not experience vaginal intercourse, anal intercourse, or cunnilingus, nor give any pleasure to any man except him.
