Apparatus Criticus: followed by 14 faintly preserved lines. In line 6, we read σ̣χολαζ . . . and in line 12, σχολαζ̣. We may also suggest ||ΑΘΡΑCO . . . in line 3, and in line 10 ΕVΓΥ. 1. The amount is 4562. This would seem likely to refer to the total of amounts (of denarii or drachmas) listed on plaster now lost. The thousands’ digit is marked by the diagonal slash / familiar in papyrus accounts.
